How do you say “I eat cereal in the morning.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
I eat _ in the morning.
asawa _ tabeteruyo
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
朝は _ 食べてます。
asawa _ tabetemasu
When you want to say “I eat _ in the morning.”, put the things you eat just before “食べてるよ” or “食べてます”.
For example, if you want to say “I eat cereal in the morning.”, you can say like this :
- cereal = シリアル shiriaru
朝はシリアル食べてるよ。
asawa shiriaru tabeteruyo
Or politely :
asawa shiriaru tabetemasu
- I eat …
- in the morning = 朝 asa
We do not usually say “わたしは watashiwa (= I)” in everyday conversation.
