How do you say “I forgot my wallet.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
I forgot _ .
_ 忘れた。
wasureta
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
_ 忘れました。
wasuremashita
When you want to say “I forgot _ .” in Japanese, put the thing(s) you forgot just before “忘れた” or “忘れました”.
For example, if you want to say “I forgot my wallet.”, you can say like this :
- wallet = 財布 saifu
財布忘れた。
saifu wasureta
Or politely :
財布忘れました。
saifu wasuremashita
財布
my wallet
