How do you say “I got the vaccine.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
I got the vaccine.
ワクチン打ったよ。
wakuchin uttayo
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
ワクチン打ちました。
wakuchin uchimashita
- vaccine = ワクチン wakuchin
- got the vaccine = ワクチンを打った wakuchin o utta
“打った utta” is the past tense of “打つ utsu”.
We do not usually say “わたしは watashiwa (= I)” in everday conversation.
わたしは ワクチン打ったよI got the vaccine
