How do you say “I live in the country.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
I live in the country.
田舎に住んでるよ。
inakani sunderuyo
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
田舎に住んでます。
inakani sundemasu
- I live in … = 私は … に住んでます watashiwa … ni sundemasu
- the country = 田舎 inaka
We do not usually say “私は watashiwa (= I)” in everyday conversation.
