How do you say “I’m going to the doctor.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
I’m going to the doctor.
病院行ってくる。
byouin* ittekuru
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
病院行ってきます。
byouin* ittekimasu
*We pronounce “byouin” like “byōin”.
- … 行ってくる ittekuru = I’m going to …
- 病院 byouin = the hospital or clinic
We say “病院” for both hospitals and clinics.
