難しい。
muzukashii*
*We do not clearly pronounce the vowels at the end of a word. We pronounce “muzukashii” like “muzukashī”.
“難しい (muzukashii)” means “difficult”.
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
難しいです。
muzukashii desu
So how do you say “It’s not easy.”?
You can say like this :
簡単じゃないね。
kantanjanai ne
We say “簡単 (kantan)” for “easy”.
“簡単じゃない** (kantanjanai)” is the negative form of “簡単”.
**”じゃない (janai)” is more of a spoken language. We use “ではない (dewanai)” instead of “じゃない” in writing.
