How do you say “Stop it!” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
Stop it!
やめて!
yamete
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
やめてください!
yametekudasai
- stop = やめて yamete
- it = それ sore
“やめて” is the imperative form of “やめる yameru”.
We do not usually say “それ” in this case. We just simply say “やめて” or “やめてください”.
それ やめて
stop it
