How do you say “What time did you get up this morning?” in Japanese?

Today’s phrase is :

What time did you get up this morning?

今日何時に起きた?

 kyou* nanjini okita

If you want to ask politely, you can say :

今日何時に起きたんですか?

*We pronounce “kyou” like “kyō“.

  • what time = 何時に nanjini

We do not usually say “あなたは anatawa (= you)” in everyday conversation.
