How do you say “When’s your birthday?” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
When’s your birthday?
誕生日いつ?
tanjoubi* itsu
*We pronounce “tanjoubi” like “tanjōbi”.
- when is = はいつ wa itsu
- your = あなたの anatano
- birthday = 誕生日 tanjoubi
We do not usually say “あなたの (anatano)” in everyday conversation.
