How do you say “You have beautiful hair.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
You have beautiful hair.
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
- you have … ＝ あなたは … を持っている anatawa … o motteiru
- beautiful ＝ きれいな kireina
- hair ＝ 髪 kami
The literal translation of “You have beautiful hair.” is “あなたはきれいな髪を持っている (anatawa kireina kamio motteiru)”, but we do not usually say like that.
“髪きれいだね” sounds more natural when you want to compliment someone on their beautiful hair.
