How do you say “You have beautiful hair.” in Japanese?
Today’s phrase is :
You have beautiful hair.
髪きれいだね。
kami kireidane
If you want to speak politely, you can say :
髪きれいですね。
kami kireidesune
- you have … = あなたは … を持っている anatawa … o motteiru
- beautiful = きれいな kireina
- hair = 髪 kami
The literal translation of “You have beautiful hair.” is “あなたはきれいな髪を持っている (anatawa kireina kamio motteiru)”, but we do not usually say like that.
“髪きれいだね” sounds more natural when you want to compliment someone on their beautiful hair.
